Responsibility of Ansar and VDP
*** To assist law enforcement agencies in maintaining law and order in the country.
*** To assist the defense forces in safeguarding the independence of the country.
***Helping common people during natural calamities.
*** To assist in national development and socio-economic work as per government directives.
***To assist the civil administration of the country.
***To assist the police force in maintaining law and order. Eg:- Selection and appointment of qualified Ansar and VDP in national and local elections, Durga Puja.
*** To send trainees to departmental training courses for imparting various profession based training as per the qualification of the platoon members/members in self-social development.
***Sewing, air conditioner, fridge, electrician, basic computer, motor driving, mobile phone set repair, welding, sweater knitting, poultry farming and fishery training are guaranteed to be sent to various training centers of the department for selection and training of qualified trainees. to do
